Christian Adoptive Couple

“Our home and our hearts have plenty of love to give.”

We are Brian and Aimee. We have been married for 5 amazing years.  Our marriage has been a redemption for us in so many ways, filled with new beginnings and wonderful second chances.  It is a daily reminder of God’s grace in our life and a reminder of how sweet life can be being married to the right person who equally loves The Lord. The last five years of our lives have been filled with so much joy.  We are blessed with three beautiful girls, two of them being from Aimee’s previous marriage.  Iris just graduated from college and Annabelle is in high school.  When we were married in 2016, our prayers were answered when we found out shortly after that we were pregnant with Emily. It’s impossible to imagine life without our little Emily.  Her big sisters are in love with her and so are we.  We felt so blessed at the chance to raise another little one.  As the years have passed, we have both felt that our family wasn’t yet complete.  We have prayed and have tried for another child, but have had a few miscarriages.  We know that there is another little soul out there that is supposed to be a part of our family, and God has put it in our hearts to adopt.  We have such a mixed little family, but it fits perfectly together.

Brian grew up the oldest of four siblings in a Christian home, and moved from the Dallas area to Albuquerque as a child.  He was always involved in church, music, and playing sports.  Brian started a mortgage business in 2006 and has seen God’s blessing and provision continually grow the business.  He also enjoys investing in real estate. He loves hanging out with family and playing games, playing golf, riding bikes with the girls, and teaching Emily how to play Mario Brothers.

Aimee grew up in Albuquerque in a Christian home.  She was the oldest sibling, and loved growing up with her two brothers.  Aimee is a registered nurse and specialized in postpartum and NICU.  She has a strong heart for mothers and their new born babies.  Aimee has made the decision to stay home and raise Emily, and she feels like there is nothing better she could do with her time.  She loves to bake, cook, garden, paint, and enjoys interior design. She loves spending time in the outdoors with her family.

Our children go to a Christian school that is part time in person, and part time home schooling, which allows for extra family adventures. We feel that our children belong to the Lord, and we are so blessed to be stewarded with them.  We feel that we have so much time and love to give.  We as a family collectively have a heart to adopt a little one into our family to complete it.  We are blessed to live close to Grandma’s and Grandpa’s, aunts and uncles, and cousins.  Love is not in short supply.

It might be hard to understand that a family who has children can so desire to grow through adoption, yet that is who we are. Our children and extended family have shared their excitement and support about our adoption journey.  As parents, we both feel called to adopt – it is a feeling that is hard to put into words, but our hearts can feel it deeply. In answering this calling, we find ourselves consistently thinking about and praying for the Birth Parents of our child. Respectfully, we cannot comprehend how difficult this decision must be for you. We are hopeful that you will find peace along your journey and genuinely appreciate your consideration of us as a family. Our home and our hearts have plenty of love to give.
