Hi, we are Chris and Alexa, thank you so much for taking the time to consider us as we navigate this amazing journey together.
We have been married for five years and together for ten. We are not only husband and wife, but best friends. As soon as we got married, our hopes of growing our family was on the top of our priority list, however, God had different plans for us. We went through several rounds of IUI and suffered one miscarriage. We discussed the idea of adoption and, after a lot of prayer, the Lord made it clear that adoption would be an honor and a blessing.
We love to have fun together. We do everything as a team and our activities range from playing sports, home projects/ DIY-ing, dancing and singing around our home in our pajamas, training our doggy Grey, and by far our favorite pleasure is growing in Christ and studying the Bible. We love our church family and look forward to raising our child to know and love the Lord. Chris enjoys reading, playing piano, learning new things, golfing, and technology as that is the field he is in. Alexa loves interior design and fashion, creating art, thrifting, singing, and playing any game you throw at her. Chris considers himself an introvert while Alexa is very bubbly and outgoing; the perfect balance.
Our home is always filled with laughter, music, and prayer. We have a large, loving family and nine times out of ten you will find us at one of their homes spending quality time and creating memories. We have a lot of nieces and nephews that have stolen our hearts, and by God’s grace, our beautiful family continues to grow. Our friends often say that they’ve never met siblings that hang out more than Alexa and hers, and Chris has grown just as close to them over the years. Our family and close friends are excited and supportive about our decision to adopt. Everyday our hearts grow bigger and bigger, as we prepare for the precious child that will become a part of our family.
Again, we thank you so much for your consideration, for your bravery and your courage in choosing life. Something that we have grown to understand during our journey is that God’s plan is greater than we can imagine and is always perfect. We pray that God also guides you!
