Hello. We are Maegan and Joshua and have been together for over 15 years.
We would be so honored to get to know you. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to be on this journey with you.
We would love for you to get to know our family. Joshua works as a Civil Engineer and Maegan is a Utility Manager. We have a three-year-old son and a thirteen-year-old dog named Kiah. According to our son, Kiah is his “best friend”.
We are so blessed to live in family friendly community in Southern California and are within walking distance to a huge park with nature trails. We go on daily walks to the park, and during the holiday seasons, like to admire our neighbors’ “movie quality” decorations. Our weekends are spent enjoying the beach, going on hikes, baking, or simply playing baseball in the backyard as we imitate our favorite players. Our world is each other. We try to live our lives in a way that keeps the love of God and our family at the center.
Though we have experienced some pain and loss from our fertility journey, we truly believe that God has led us down this road to you. We cannot begin to understand the journey you have gone through. All that we can say is that from the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful and honored to be holding your hand through this step in the road.
We promise to provide a loving, stable, warm and playful home to the child God has planned for us. We are filled with anticipation and hope to meet them. We know that God has been preparing our hearts for this moment. We promise to be the best parents we can be for our child, and we will love them unconditionally throughout all the stages of their life. We are overcome with joy and hope knowing that our child will finally be able to join our family. We have been longing and praying for them every second of every day.
The adoption journey brings us hope, but also waves of nervousness. We fully acknowledge that this is a difficult journey for you as well. We are constantly praying that you find peace throughout this process and that we can jointly decide to make a beautiful life for this precious child.
